Will work for food

Soooooooo I painted something that I think is a good expression of how I have felt lately. And I think alot of people my age feel the same way.
I have it for sale on my Etsy shop. I think this also expresses why I think youth should go out and vote on May 2nd. Because politicians will never listen to us until we have a voice. And if we're not voting, we have no voice. I think I will do this larger and do many more similar versions of this.

  2. Yes, jobs are very hard to come by these days, even with a college ed. Good luck. The painting really says it all and it's great. You've done a great job expressing how you feel. Happy PPF.

  3. Absolutely can identify with this! Jobs are hard to find for older folks like me too. With all of our gov't issues today I may be working until I'm 90.
    Great work!

  14. Great idea in this painting!! In Australia we have to vote, which I think is great, otherwise it's not the masses that get a say in how their country is run only the monied... people get pretty excited about elections here,, so try to make informed judgements (and avoid being fined for not voting) LOL... this is a strong piece of work & important message, well done!

  17. Great point behind this piece - the dry wit reminds me of Banky's wonderful art work!! It is also a shame that it is true. I guess you are right about using your vote - I tend not to as voting in Northern Ireland is entirely tactical and I am weary of voting based on religion. I'll look forward to seeing more of this theme emerging - you have a great wit about all your artwork.
